All of the ingredients used to make the wonderful products you see here are all sourced from companies that choose (where applicable) to carry only sustainable products.

We hear this term so often now. What is sustainable? From dictionary.com ... "the ability to be sustained, supported, upheld, or confirmed. The quality of not being harmful to the environment or depleting natural resources, and thereby supporting long-term ecological balance." 

The Palm oil used in our beautiful soaps is certified RSPO 'Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil'

Our Ingredients

Approximately 98% of the ingredients use to make our products are purchased in Canada. Being a small business in Canada, it is important to us that we support other Canadian businesses .... Large or small.

All of our ingredients are carefully selected for each product to ensure they are safe for everyone and gentle on even the most sensitive skin.​

  When I choose a particular ingredient for a product, I want to know it's purpose in the product, Is it harmful, and how it benefits the end product. 

All of our products you see here are hand crafted by me, in small batches to ensure you are receiving a fresh product every time and not something that has been sitting on a shelf for an undetermined amount of time.
 

Never Tested 
on Animals

At Fresh Essences we believe in creating products that are kind to both humans and animals. That's why we make sure that none of our products are tested on animals. We take a firm stance on this, It's simple: we test on people, not animals.

The ingredients we use come from suppliers that acquire their ingredients from manufacturers who also follow this principle, and are certified 'Cruelty Free'. This means that the ingredients used in our products have not been tested on animals.

We understand the importance of animal welfare and are committed to ensuring that none of our ingredients have been tested on animals. We believe it's our responsibility to ensure that our products are kind and gentle to all living beings.

 Porch pick up available in Port Hope. Local Pick up available in Bowmanville.
